William David Merryman, a native of Memphis, Tennessee and former resident of Mobile died on Tuesday in Vero Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Merryman; his father, Robert Lee Merryman, Sr.; his mother Helen Barnes; and his brother, Ernest Merryman. He is survived by his daughter, Gail Smalley; two grandsons, William D. Smalley and Justin R. Smalley; two great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Robert Lee Merryman, Jr., Wallace Merryman, and Richard Merryman.
Funeral services will be held on from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at 2 PM. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
