William Earl "Bill" Phillips

William Earl “Bill” Phillips –a 92 year-old native of Ruleville, Mississippi and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away at his home on Monday, January 2, 2023. Mr. Phillips, a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, retired from the United States Air Force as a Tech. Sergeant after 20 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked in automotive sales in the Mobile area for 50 years and was the owner and operator of Bill Phillips Motors. He enjoyed football, fishing, hunting, and golf.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife of 72 years, Luvenia Phillips; children, Reginald Earl “Reggie” Phillips (Karen), Wilma Earlene Tyson (Neil), and Wayne Everett Phillips; grandchildren, Grace Willis (Paul), Karen Nagle (Dan), Michele Tyson, and Wayne E. Phillips, Jr. (Mandy); great-grandson, Colt Phillips; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
