William S. Sibley, Jr. – went to be with Our Lord on July 4, 2015. Mr. Sibley was a successful real estate broker for over 55 years. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved his family. Mr. Sibley graduated from Murphy High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army Air force during World War II. He later attended the University of Alabama and the University of Tennessee.
He leaves behind two children, his daughter, Lisa Lee Sibley, and son, William S. Sibley, III; two granddaughters, Meghan Joan Sibley and Emma Grace Sibley. He will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 10 a.m. The family will received friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
