I am so sorry to hear about Willie passing! I just found out yesterday and of course the memories just started flooding in! I moved to Clinton in October 1978. School had already started and I was the "strange" guy. After school I was introduced to Walter and Willie on my way home. Of course they were in their Monte Carlo cruising around. I got in their car and they started showing and telling me all about Clinton. Toward the evening hours, we stopped at all the Homecoming float building parties for each class and they introduced me to each one there! Everyone knows Walter and Willie! I must have met 200 new friends thanks to those two. They finally dropped me off around 10 and by the next day I felt at home in Clinton. So whenever I hear "Walter or Willie", my first flashback is of that day and how many lives that Walter and Willie has touched over the years.
Rest in Peace my dear friend! I will never forget you!

Met these two, Walter and Willie, a few times while hanging with Walker Price. Two of the most unassuming, friendly, funny, and welcoming to anyone, individuals you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Walter, so sad for your back to back losses. But keep your chin up, keep smiling, keep going, and continue loving people and life. As little as I knew you both, you two were full of life, joy, accompanied by an unending plethora of friends. Keep it going! Many prayers.

So sorry to learn about Willies passing. I knew him thru MDHS. What a character. I know he loved to travel and was so in love with Betsy. I often heard about thier trips and the different bottles of wine they shared. Several of us got to see his Flamingo Lounge when they lived in Clinton. He had a great sense of humor. Wish I had known he was sick. Hugs to all his family.
