Bill was born Sept. 12, 1944, in Marianna, Florida to Daniel Angus Lipford and Louise Sketo. He graduated from Marianna High School and attended the University of South Alabama.
His parents; his stepmother, Lois Jean Lipford; and his brother, David Michael Lipford, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Chris Lipford; brother, Danny (Sharon) Lipford; nieces, Chelsea (Brandon) Lipford Wolf, Melanie (Stewart) Gray and Emily Lipford; two sisters; and his beloved little dog, Diego.
Bill owned and operated ScreenPrinter Inc. for many years on Old Shell Road in Mobile. In his free time, he followed, and was a devout fan of, the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed watching them defeat the Houston Astros and win the World Series in 2021.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. April 19 at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St., Mobile.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. April 20 at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 34904 Alabama Highway 225, in Spanish Fort.
