Winfred Young "Chuck" Lord

Mr. “Chuck” Winfred Young Lord – a native of Atlanta, GA and a resident of Mobile, AL since 1975, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in a local hospital. Winfred Lord “Chuck” was a living inspiration to many people throughout his life. His catholic faith and family were his bedrock. While we look forward to seeing him in heaven, his loving family will represent him well on this earth as we live our lives from his example. Mr. Lord was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Francine Lord; one son, Joseph Young Lord; one grandson, Jacob Lord; and his brother, Ron Lord. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Lord; six children, Sr. Susan Lord, V.H.M., Michael (Sallie) Lord, Jenny (Steve) Dolan, David (Katy) Lord, Dan (Hallie) Lord, and Tony (Joann) Lord; twenty-eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Lord’s family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Martin Lester, Sharon at the Dialysis Clinic, and the CCU staff at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center especially nurse David for their loving care. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Friday, April 27, 2012 from St. Dominic Catholic Church. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
