Winston Hayles, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, departed this life on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was 64 years old, after celebrating his birthday just 5 days prior to his death.
Winston was a 1975 graduate of Augusta Evans School in the Mobile County Public School System. He was an avid videogame player and an enthusiastic participant of programs/services rendered by Altapointe Health Systems and Volunteers of America Programs. He was a resident of the Tajuacha Incorporated Group Homes.
Winston was preceded in death by his loving parents, Aulmon Hayles, Sr. and Iola Ezell Hayles. He was survived by four devoted siblings: Aulmon (Jennifer) Hayles, Jr., Linda Hayles, Merland (Earl) Skinner, and Cybele Hayles; Five Nieces/Nephews: LaShea (Joseph) Baxter, Sonja Skinner, Tanece (Rufus) McClodden, Jordan Jennifer Hayles, and Jeremy (Gabriel) Hayles; four great nieces/nephews: Kyra Skinner, Jaylyn Baxter, Kendrick McClodden, and Jayce Baxter. He was also preceded in death by a great niece, JaTarrah Hayles.
Winston was also survived by a host of many caring relatives and friends. He was adored by his Special Friend, Ms. Ashley Hannon, and will be sadly missed by his attentive care givers, Mrs. Pam Williams and Staff.
Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. on October 16, 2021, immediately following the Funeral Procession/Line Up. The Funeral Procession will line up from the Pine Crest Funeral Homes ‘ Auditorium Building (1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile AL. 36605) and travel a short distance on the Cemetery grounds to the gravesite. Reverend Darrell Spencer will officiate during the brief graveside services at Pine Crest Cemetery. However, should inclement weather interrupt the graveside plans, a brief prayer will be rendered at the procession line-up in front of the Pine Crest Funeral Home Building and attendees will take shelter in their vehicles. Please observe COIVD-19 safety measures such as wearing a mask and social distancing.
