Winston Case Wright

Mrs. Wright was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Born in Great Neck, New York in 1935, she graduated from Chatham Hall in Chatham, Virginia, and earned her bachelor’s degree at Bennington College in Vermont. She served as the Community Vice President in the Junior League of Morristown, New Jersey with a focus on the needs of at-risk youth served by the NJ Division of Youth and Family Services. Mrs. Wright was the Alumni Director at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and later worked in the development office at the Bermuda High School in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Mrs. Wright married John Harrison Wright, Jr., also of Mobile, at Christ Church in 1958. She and Jack Wright shared a love of music, and sang together in the choirs at St. John's Episcopal Church in Bernardsville, NJ, at St. Marks Anglican Church in Bermuda, and in Mobile at Christ Church.

Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her husband and her parents, Frances Winston Case and John Porter Case. She is survived by her brother, John Porter Case, Jr., four children: John Harrison Wright III (Debbie), Catherine Wright Richardson (Wayne), Elizabeth Wright Eldred (David), and Victoria Wright Erickson (Eric) and five grandchildren, Heather Winston Price-Wright, Erin Stuart Price-Wright, Sophia Winston Eldred, Harrison Henry Eldred, and Sara Elizabeth Erickson.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Monday, November 3, 2014. Visitation in the Parish Hall at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at In lieu of f11:00 a.m.
