Woodrow Wilson Durbin, Jr.
April 25, 1950 – January 8, 2021
Woodrow Wilson Durbin, Jr. better known as “Chick” by family and friends passed away January 8, 2021 at the age of 70. Chick was Born, April 25, 1950. He was baptized into Christian life at Emmanuel Baptist Church here in Mobile.
Chick lived most of his life in Mobile and attended Murphy High School. While living in Hawaii, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology. He was a boat Captain for Off Shore Logistics for several years and then started his own company, Durbin Contracting Company, with his son, Josh.
His favorite pastimes were fishing and spending time with his grandchildren whom he truly loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Grace Durbin, Sr, Stepmother, Flora H. Durbin, his son, Joshua Ocie Durbin, and brother, Bill Durbin.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Hargrove Durbin, grandchildren, Bryant and Anna Kayton Durbin, and brother, Kim Durbin of Opelika.

A graveside service will be held at Pine Crest West cemetery, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, family is asking that donation be made to Volunteers of America or the charity of your choice.
