

Anna G. Homerding, 90, of Orland Park, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and community member, Anna’s warmth and creativity touched countless lives.
Anna leaves behind her cherished children: John (Kathie) Beasley, Michael Beasley, AnnaMarie X. (Scott) Rosenberg, and Joseph Beasley; her beloved grandchildren: Angela Snyder, Karen Beasley, Susan Weberg, Christina Cathcart, Michael Didier, Timothy Rosenberg, Katherine Rosenberg, and Benjamin Rosenberg; and her treasured great-grandchildren: Anthony Snyder, Monique Snyder, Alyia Beals, Andrew Ellinson, Katrina Ellingson, Rachael Weberg, Anna Weberg, Michael Weberg, Alyssa Cathcart, Noah Rosenberg, Audrianna Rosenberg, Caleb Rosenberg, James Rosenberg, and a soon-to-arrive Baby Girl Rosenberg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine Welecki; her beloved husband, Donald E. Homerding; her children, Victoria Ann Beasley and Patrick Beasley; and her siblings, Ciprian Barkauski, Hilard Barkauski, Nancy Barkauski, and Joseph Welecki.
A faithful and longtime parishioner of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Monee, IL, Anna served as an organist for over 20 years, filling the sanctuary with her musical gifts. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone through in her ownership of Silk, Satin and Lace Floral Shop in Orland Park and a nail technician business she started in her 60s. Anna was deeply involved in her community, serving as a Den Mother for Cub Scouts, President of the Lyon and Healy Club, and a dedicated piano and organ teacher in Monee. Her passion for crocheting brought comfort to many, as she lovingly crafted blankets for sick babies in the hospital.
Anna’s legacy is one of love, creativity, and service. Her generous spirit and unwavering devotion to her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Skyline Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 24800 S. Governors Hwy., Monee, IL. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, beginning with prayers at Skyline Funeral Home at 9:15 A.M., followed by a procession past Anna’s home in Orland Park and the family farm in Monee, to St. Boniface Catholic Church in Monee, IL for a 12:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial. A private interment St. Casimir Cemetery.
