Deloris R. Knopp-Geib

Deloris R. Knopp-Geib, age 95, of Monee, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2025. Deloris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her cherished children: James (Kristin) Knopp, Jeffrey L. Knopp, and Christine Knopp; her beloved grandchildren: Brandon (Tara) Knopp, Jonathan Knopp, and Christopher (Abby) Knopp; and her adored great-grandchildren: Aaliyah Knopp, Brandon Knopp, Jr., Willow Knopp, and Eden Knopp. She also leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, C. Gene Knopp and Martin Geib, and her sons, Douglas Knopp, Joseph Knopp, and Thomas Knopp.

A woman of strength and grace, Deloris dedicated her early years to raising her family as a stay-at-home mother. Later, she built a successful secretarial career, working at Balmoral Racetrack and Acme Steel. Deloris found joy in her Bible study, cherished moments with her family, and lively outings with her close circle of friends. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her, and her legacy will live on in their hearts.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Skyline Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 5100 S. Governors Hwy., Monee, IL. A Chapel Service will follow at 1:00 P.M., officiated by Pastor Randy Roberts. A private entombment will take place at Skyline Memorial Park.
