Paulette T. Bline

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Eugene Bline; children: Toni (Jeremy Wirick) Ruckman and Daniel (Julie) Bline; grandchildren: Alison Ruckman, Alaina (Marco) Alfieri, Annabel Ruckman, Sara Bline, Alexander (Lacey) Bline, Joseph Bline, and Jackson Bline; great-grandchildren: Vincent Alfieri and Valerie Alfieri; and her sister, Barbara (Dennis) Smith.

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Therese Strabavy, and brother, Paul Strabavy.

Born and raised in Hammond, Indiana, Paulette graduated from Clark High School. She enjoyed a full life centered around her family, especially her grandchildren, whose sports games she loved attending. She lived for those moments with them. Paulette also found joy in bowling, collecting gnomes, and adding to her collection of hand-blown glass. She loved traveling to Las Vegas and Florida with Gene, where she especially enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casinos.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Chapel Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Skyline Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 24800 S.
