I met Sherry back in 2005, and over the years we shared so many great memories—family dinners, phone calls full of laughs, and even a couple of fun trips to the Outer Banks. She was always kind, warm, and generous with her time, especially when it came to her grandchildren.
Sherry was a proud and loving grandma to my son, Aden—her first grandchild. She showed up for his, band concerts, games (when he played football and basketball) and supported him in so many ways. It meant a lot to both of us.
One memory that always makes me smile is the time Tom gave her a fake lottery scratch-off ticket. She really thought she’d hit it big—and the look on her face was priceless. We all laughed so hard that day, and she took it like a champ once she realized the joke. Moments like that are the ones that stick with you.
Even though we grew a little less close over time, I’ll always be grateful for the years we shared and the memories we made. She was a wonderful grandma and a special part of our lives. She’ll truly be missed.

I’m so glad that I got the opportunity to be a part of your life. You were an amazing lady and you lived a full and happy life. Tom Sr. adored you and your kids loved you like crazy. You were the best grandma and the grand kids knew you loved them so much and you were always attentive to their needs. I will miss the conversations we had and the laughs we shared. You touched the lives of everyone who knew you and you will be missed immensely. I love you 💜

I worked with Sherry at St James til she left!
She loved to have fun  with me and
Janet Martin and one time she was our designated driver and we ate White Castles at 1-2 am!
That night was a bladt!!!!
Sherry loved to talk about Tom and all of her kids. She was very proud of her family!

I couldn’t have given my boys a better grandmother.  You lived up to that title and then some. You made your grandchildren your world and they all know how much you loved & cared for them.  You left too soon. The memories that were made will be cherished and never forgotten.  We all love you and will miss you. I know you will continue to watch over dad, your children & grandchildren. I worked with Sherry for years at St James Hospital.  She was the best unit secretary!  I missed her after she left.  We shared many stories about our families and lots of laughter.  She was a kind and funny woman.  I know she will be missed❤️
