

Known as "Neal" or "Danny" to his friends and family, he grew up in The Bronx, loved baseball and especially the Yankees. Well-known to many people in the community, here in Monroe and The Bronx, he had many friends and had a generous heart with all he met.
A lifelong factory worker and garment cutter in New York City, he moved to Connecticut after retiring to be closer to his family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Giovannina DiMeglio, and is survived by his daughter Victoria Brinkmann, her husband Dennis, and their daughters, Emily and Amanda, whom he loved dearly. Also, his daughter, Rosemarie Conte and her husband, Thomas.
His family will receive friends at the Spadaccino and Leo Gallagher Funeral Home in Monroe, CT on Tuesday, April 11th from 5-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 11am, in St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, CT. Entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull, CT immediately thereafter.
