Dear Kim and Family -
We have always had fond memories of Tony, though we moved away from Newtown twenty years ago. He was, most certainly, as "The Bee" obituary notes, a kind and generous human being.
Words always seem to fall short at times like this, but we want you to know, at least, that our thoughts are with you.
By the way, Kim, if we're not mistaken, it was your Dad who made photographic posters of each player on the 1984 Newtown High girls' softball team. They're wonderful mementos, and we still have Jessica's on display.

My Dearest Uncle Tony,
I'm still in shock that you are gone, our world has been turned upside down. Our family will never be the same, you held this family together with your smile, your kindness and the love you had for us. I will never forget the years I lived with you! We had allot of laughs together, you were like a dad to me. I know your at peace and not suffering anymore and was with you when you were taken from us. You are with the rest of the family but I can honestly say it doesn't make it any easier. My heart will always be with you Uncle Tony, until we meet again I will always love and cherish you for ever!! Love Shelley

we are saddened by Tony's passing......Tom and Tony were sheet metal buddies for years and Tom enjoyed fri nite dart shooting at Tony's. Tony and Janet were always kind to invite us to their annual labor day picnic, which was always a good time...Tony was a true and loyal friend and always made you feel good when he was with you....The local 38 ct retirees club was very dear to Tony and he kept it going as long as he could..We all enjoyed his work stories and of course Janet's jokes. we hope that heaven has chestnut trees for Tony to enjoy.....We have lost a really good guy..rest in peace dear friend, we will miss you....

I don’t even know what to say, except that Uncle Tony was one of the most amazing, kind and generous people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am so sorry, Aunt Janet, and to our entire family. I will always remember his stories of Kimmy, softball and bowling. Bob was so excited to live next door and play darts with Uncle Tony and some family and friends on Friday nights. Zackary loves him so much, and loved to visit and hang out on the golf cart and mini excavator.
I love you, and will always remember your stories and your love for all your family and friends.
Keep Bobby busy with darts and bowling!!
Rest easy, Uncle Tony...
