

Caroline C. Piccolello Morrissey “Nonny” 84, of Monroe entered into eternal peace surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 28,2017. Caroline was born April 19,1932 in Bridgeport to Marziella and Angelo Piccolello. Caroline was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years Alexander John Morrissey. Caroline was a beloved wife, mother, “nonny”, sister-in-law and aunt. She is survived by her daughter Karen and husband Charles Smith of Shelton, daughter Marcelle and husband Thomas Wickson of Brookfield, son John and wife Victoria Morrissey of Lancaster, CA. She was so proud of each and every one of her grandchildren-Michael and Amanda Smith, Laura and Daniel Wickson and Megan and her husband David Jouflas. She was the beloved sister of Mary and her husband Keith Interrante of Trumbull, brother Louis and his wife Phyllis Piccolello of Shelton, and brother Danny and his wife Francis Piccolello of Bridgeport. She was also the beloved Auntie Care of several nieces and nephews. Caroline loved nothing more then being surrounded by her loving family. Her beautiful smile left a wonderful mark on everyone she met. One of her greatest pleasures in life was entertaining and orchestrating family carols on Christmas Eve. She will be truly missed but her legacy of love, strength and family will live on forever.
Calling hours will be held Friday, March 3 from 4-8pm at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 4 at 10:00 AM at St. Stephen’s Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull. Our beloved Nonny will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery, Monroe.
