Charles was born on February 13, 1939 to Howard and Sylvia Davidson, and was raised in Trumbull, CT with his siblings Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Sword and Howard Davidson. Following high school, Charles attended and graduated from the University of New Haven with a degree in Engineering. After marrying Carol Klint Davidson, life took him across the country to California for a new start where he worked as an Aerospace engineer at Teledyne Technologies while raising his son, Charles.
He divorced Carol in 1978 and remarried Sonia San Pedro Guerrero in 1983. He started a Fish Market, Meat Market and Bakery, working 16 hours a day. At his last job, he ended up retiring after working for the City of Los Angeles for Social Services placing troubled kids in Foster Homes for 15 years. Charles and Sonia then moved to Las Vegas to enjoy their retirement years.
Following the passing of his wife Sonia in 2015, Charles relocated to North Haven, CT, and grew closer with his family including his two grandchildren, Isabelle and Benjamin. The time spent growing closer with his family was invaluable and he will be missed.
Charles is survived by his son Charles (Barbara) Davidson, grandchildren Isabelle and Benjamin, sister Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Sword, brother Howard Davidson and several nieces and nephews.
An interment will be held on Friday, January 11th, 11am at Zoar Cemetery, 53 Berkshire Road, Sandy Hook, CT.
