1962-2025
Cynthia Heitsman, 63, of Trumbull, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Born on August 29th, 1962, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Donald and Mary Ann Brescia.
Cindy, better known as Cece by family and Mimi by her grandchildren was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. After graduating from Quinnipiac University, she worked in marketing for over 30 years. In her free time she enjoyed throwing events that brought her loved ones close to her, she was the glue that held her family and friends together.
She is survived by her mother, husband of 36 years, Greg Heitsman; her children, Jacob, Geoffrey and Jeremy Heitsman; her brother, Michael Brescia, her sister, Wendy Vizvary and her Grandchildren, Oak, Alder and Zinnia. She was preceded in death by her father.
A visitation will be held at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, located at 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, Connecticut, 06468, on October 16, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, Connecticut, 06611, on October 17, 2025, at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Audubon Society or the Krohn Conservatory.
