Dale N. Sheehy

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Dale Norrgard Sheehy, a longtime Monroe, Connecticut resident who passed away on June 8, 2023. She just celebrated her seventy-fourth year on this Earth.

Dale was born in Bridgeport Connecticut, on May 29, 1949. She was the beloved daughter of Dan and Dorothy Norrgard. She attended Bassick High School and shortly after received her Licensed Practical Nursing diploma from Bullard Havens Technical School. Dale dedicated her nursing career working with medically compromised children and adults. Her last nursing journey was working at St. Vincent’s Special Needs Services in Trumbull, CT. Family time was an essential factor in Dale’s life. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, and gardening. She will always be remembered for her kind and generous heart, and for always giving the best and biggest hugs.

Dale was preceded in death by her longtime sweetheart Raymond Sheehy Junior and her adored son Raymond Sheehy III. She is survived by her two daughters Jo-Ellen Kelley and husband John Kelley, Dana Aiudi and husband Mitch Aiudi, grandchildren Troy, Dayle, Cody Wade, Krystal, and Stephanie Kelley, and eleven darling great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at her home to celebrate her life with only close family members.
