Daniel Albert Patrick Brennan

Daniel Albert Patrick Brennan, 82, of Monroe, passed away on October 31, 2025, in Bridgeport Hospital. Daniel was born in Bridgeport, CT to Evelyn and Joseph Brennan on February 20, 1943. He went to school in Bridgeport, CT.

He married Adrianna Theresa Bonaventura on May 30, 1964, in St. Patrick's Church in Bridgeport, CT. He worked as a Chemical Engineer, an Accreditation Officer for the State of Connecticut and a Police Officer for the Monroe Police Department with over 49 years of service. Daniel was a Veteran during the Vietnam War and served as a Platoon Staff Sergeant in the National Guard.

Daniel is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn and his father, Joseph Brennan. He is survived by his wife, Adrianna T. Brennan, his children, Marlene A. Ferguson, Daniel M. Brennan, and Lisa M. Brennan; his grandchildren, Michael I. Ferguson, Julia L. Brennan and Sienna S. Ferguson.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 4pm-8pm at the Spadaccino and Leo P Gallagher Home, 315 Monroe Tpke, Monroe CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, with Father Joseph Gill of St. Jude’s Parish, officiating. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull. The family of Daniel A. Brennan wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Bridgeport Hospital Staff, the Monroe Police Department and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
