

It is with hearts full of love and remembrance that we announce the passing of David Harrington Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world on July 15, 2025, at the age of 66 surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on February 10,1959, in Stamford, Connecticut, to Dennis and Joan Harrington, who instilled in him the values of love, family, and hard work that he carried throughout his life.
David married his high school sweetheart and devoted wife, Lynn (Mosback) Harrington, on September 12,1981, and together they created a life filled with love and happiness for over 43 years. David was a proud father to three awesome children and 11 beautiful grandchildren: David (Jr.), his wife Erin Harrington, and children Ellie, Ava, Billy and Conor; Jamie and her husband Kevin Pedersen and children Jack, Brady, Charlotte and Colin; and Kelly and her husband Scott Rivera, and children Madison, Riley and Lily. David’s legacy continues through his children and beloved grandchildren, with whom he shared countless holidays, birthdays, pool days and barbecues that his family will cherish forever.
David lived his life to the fullest. He worked 40+ years at Pitney Bowes and forged lifelong friendships there. He loved golfing and always looked forward to his annual trip to the Old Delt Open surrounded by friends and family. His zest for life was felt deeply by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Joan Harrington and beloved brother, Brian Harrington. He is survived by his brothers Dennis and Neil Harrington, as well as his sisters Joanie Stevenson and his twin sister Diane Trifone, all of whom carry forward his spirit and love.
Calling hours will be held on July 17, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home on 315 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe, CT. Additionally, a mass will be held in his honor on July 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church, located at 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton, CT. All who knew and loved David are invited to join in celebrating a life beautifully lived and a spirit that will remain forever in our hearts.
