Dorothy Nowosacki

NOWOSACKI Dorothy Ann Nowosacki, age 84, of Monroe, beloved wife of Sylvester Nowosacki, returned to the Lord peacefully on Wednesday August 20th, at her home at Middlebrook Farms, Trumbull CT. Dorothy was born April 15, 1930 in Olyphant, PA. She was the daughter of the late John and Helen Ockovitz. She retired from Columbia Records/Sony Music as an Executive Secretary with over 30 years of service. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors are one son, John Nowosacki and his wife, Katherine Bunker, of North Reading, Mass. One daughter, Mary Lou Weeks and her husband David Gilfillan of Bridgeport, CT. One sister, Marilyn Gibbons of Stratford CT. Two cherished grandchildren, Steven Weeks and Jenna Turcotte, and one cherished great-granddaughter Lyla Weeks. Several nieces and nephews; and grand-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Browne. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday August 25, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in St Jude Church, Monroe, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
