Eleanor M Spray

She is survived by three stepsons from her former marriage; Keith Spray and his wife Kathleen of Shelton CT, Scott Spray and his wife Nancy of Fairfield CT, and Glen Spray and his wife Candice of Hamden CT. She also had eight grandchildren; Jason Spray of Wilmington NC, Dawn Costantiello of Bristol CT, Andrea Spray of Fairfield CT, Justin Spray of Milford CT, Steven Spray of Milford CT, Angelina Blank of Shelton CT, Heather Blank of Shelton CT, and Daniel Lord of Hamden CT; along with five great grandchildren, Kiera, Autumn, Jared, Joshua, and Giovanna. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Born in Chicago, IL on April 9th, 1931, she lived there with her parents, a brother and a sister, until she moved to Connecticut and married John Spray. They were married for 46 years and lived on Oxen Hill Road in Trumbull almost their entire married life. She worked as a Benefit administrator for the Teamsters union in Bridgeport, CT and retired after working there for many years. She loved her family, and her two pet poodles, Bambi, and Margret and doted on us all. Her graciousness and hospitality will be missed by everyone.

A visitation will be held at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT on Monday, June 2nd from 4-8pm. A funeral service will be held the following day, Tuesday June 3rd at 10am, also at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son. Interment will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
