Esteban Torres Jr.

August 3, 1956May 12, 2020

Esteban Torres Junior, 63, of Shelton, Connecticut, passed away on May 12, 2020 after a battle with cancer.

He was the Manager of the Industrial Accounts for O&G Industries where he coordinated a multitude of projects at local government companies and power plants throughout the state of Connecticut. He was a loyal and dedicated worker at O&G Industries for the last 32 years. He was an avid Bruce Springsteen fan and loved going to concerts with his family and friends. He was a big fan of playing and watching sports, most notably, passing along his love of basketball to his sons as a coach in youth leagues. He was a Baltimore Orioles and New York Jets fan and took an annual weekend trip during the summer to Baltimore with his family centered around catching a couple of baseball games at Camden Yards. He also loved traveling and playing games, especially dominoes, with his family and friends. He was always willing to help friends and family with anything they needed. He was very mechanically inclined and would tackle to fix anything around the house. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria; their children Esteban III and Michael; his loving mother, Carmen; his sister Teresa; as well as several nieces and nephews and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his father Esteban Torres Senior, and sister Carmen.

Due to circumstances burial will be private and service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Esteban’s name to the American Cancer Research Foundation PO BOX 4933 Washington, DC 55504, or Vitas Hospice, in lieu of flowers.

Maria and family,

I am devastated of hearing of the death of my friend Steve. I have so many fond memories and am proud to have called him a friend. I still have the scars from the hoops games we played to remind me about how competitive he was.
I can't imagine the grief that you and your family are going through at this time. Please keep your memories close at all times.

Sincere condolences,
