

Evelyn was born in Shelton, CT on November 12, 1929, to the late Anthony and Elvira (née Sciaretti) Iannone. She grew up in a loving home, where she developed her strong work ethic and dedication to her family.
Evelyn loved being a waitress in Bridgeport at Frankie's, White's Diner and Duchess Diner in Stratford. She quickly became known for her warm smile, friendly demeanor, and exceptional service. Evelyn had a knack for making customers feel welcome and had many laughs with her late night patrons.
While living in Stratford, she acted as the Commissioner for the Stratford Housing Authority.
Evelyn was a devoted sister, mother, and grandmother. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories.
Evelyn will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the many customers whose lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and hard work will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Evelyn is survived by her children, son, Michael Caschetto and his wife Gissela, her daughter, Donna Mastrony, grandchildren, Dena O'Neill and her husband Matthew, Paul Mastrony and his wife Danielle; great-grandchildren, Kacie Hanna and her husband Jared of West Virginia, Ashley O’Neill and her fiancé, Nick Giannoni of North Carolina, Nathan Mastrony of CT and her great-great-grandson, Grayson Hanna.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son-in-law Ralph Mastrony, brothers, Louis, Dominick, and Sonny Iannone, sisters, Rose Derick and Theresa Fuller and her longtime friend and companion, Arthur “Midnight” Moretti.
