Hailton was born in Ecuador and owned a grocery store here in Connecticut. He was married to his loving wife, Rosa for 70 years until her passing in May.
Hailton is survived by his three sons, Fredy, Sucre, and Jimmy Lopez, and his daughter Rossy DelGaizo. He is also survived by four grandsons, Alexander, Galo, Christopher and Jimmy Jr., a granddaughter Gabriela and brother, Jorge Washington Hidalgo as well as nieces and nephews.
