Jane H Dwyer

Jane H. Dwyer, age 92, of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 31 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Teofila Hyzinski, and the step-daughter of the late Chester Wysocki. She was a resident of Monroe for 39 years, and had previously lived in Fairfield and Bridgeport. She was the widow of John M. Dwyer Sr. and was predeceased by brothers Raymond and Charles Hyzinski. Survivors include a son, John M. Dwyer, Jr (Rita) and a grandson John III of Summerfield NC, and a daughter, Jaynis Pixley (Robert JR) of Newtown and grandchildren Shannon Pixley of Newtown, Robert Pixley III of Newtown, Marlene Pixley of Monroe, Janine Pixley of Detroit, MI, and James Pixley of Newtown, and numerous nieces and nephews. She had taught line dancing at Senior Centers in Easton, Monroe, Bethel and Newtown until her retirement at age 85. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
