Nina (Nee Abate) Guariglia,formally of Toms River N.J. died peacefully on Saturday February 19 at Saint Joseph's Manor Nursing Home in Trumbull Ct. She was 89 years old. She was born July 17th in Gisualdo,Italy and immigrated with her family,to this country in 1927. She lived most of her life in New York City. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Matthew Guariglia. She leaves behind her son, Louis Guariglia and his wife Beth and three grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah and Emily, of Monroe Ct. Additional Survivors include brothers Vincent and Frank Abate, and their families as well as sister-in-laws Eleanor Guariglia and Kathy Grillo and family. Visiting hours will be Friday Feb 25th from 6-9pm at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher and Son Community Funeral Home 315 Monroe Turnpike Monroe Ct. 06468. Burial will be Sat Feb 26th at 11 am at Hollywood Memorial Cemetery in Union N.J.
