John W Nealon

John W. Nealon, 82, passed away Monday afternoon, April 8th 2013. John was born March 31, 1931 to John J. and Lena (Ganzemuller) Nealon in Peckville, PA, the youngest of 3 children. He graduated from Blakley High School in Peckville in 1949. John went to school for Industrial Engineering. He met his lovely wife Janine Nealon in Bridgeport, CT and they were married in 1964. John held various positions in production management in the Bridgeport, CT. area and retired from Cornwall and Patterson in 1995. John had a love for the outdoors and animals and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Janine Nealon; along with 4 children, Regine Robertson of FT. Myers, FL., Roy and Jennifer Nealon of Monroe CT., Danielle and Brian Williams of Shelton, CT., and Christine and Jason Martin of McKinney, TX.; 5 Grandchildren, Juliette Nealon, Christian Martin, Caleb Nealon, Grace Martin, and Faith Martin; one sibling, James Nealon of Monroe, CT.; and other loving nieces, nephews, and relatives. Friends may call at the Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home at 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT on Sunday, April 14th, 2013 from 4pm – 8pm. A funeral service will be held at 7 officiated by Pastor Jennifer Gingras of Monroe Congregational Church. Burial will follow on Monday, April 15th, 2013 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Peckville, PA with Pastor Robert Vigil officiating.
