Dear Pat, Sharon, Tom, and Christopher —
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I knew John mostly through the stories Tom shared, but I do remember that whenever I came over to the house to hang out and play our nerdy games with Tom, he talked to me like I mattered. I felt welcome — and that says a lot, because at first look for a 16 year old girl, “Mr. Slopnick” could be pretty intimidating! A gentle giant is what I’m glad to remember.
Scott and I are keeping you in our prayers.
