

Born on June 6, 1933 in Mount Vernon, New York, Joyce was the beloved daughter of Dorothea (Moe) and Walter Jacques. She attended Central High School where she met the love of her life, P. John Millo. They were married on July 25, 1953, in Bridgeport, beginning a life-long partnership built on love, hard work and unwavering devotion to one another. Joyce embraced the adventure of traveling overseas with John during his tours of duty before settling back home to raise their family. Together, they built not only a successful business but a lifetime of memories, proudly operating P. Millo & Son Supply Company for more than 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, along with her parents, her brother, Robert Jacques, and her sister, Linda Brown.
Joyce leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her children, Joanne Millo, Katherine (Jerry) Stevens, John Millo, and Jeffrey (Faith) Millo; her grandchildren, April Millo, Jeffrey C. Millo, Amanda (Will) Kirk, Jared (Jaime) Stevens, Nicole (Vinn) Costanzo, Eve (Ryan) Fournaris, Christine Fournaris, and Gregory Fournaris. She was also the proud great-grandmother of 10 great-grand daughters, Cecilia Felix, Brenna and Tessa Kirk, Kaylee Cronk, Ariya Cast, Eden Barry, Jolie and Jemma Stevens, Isabella Millo, and eagerly anticipated welcoming her newest great-granddaughter due in August. She is also survived by her sisters, Estella Miller and Diane Brown; brothers, Walter (Pat) Jacques and Richard (Linda) Jackson.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home in Monroe. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Stephen's Church in Trumbull at 11:30. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
