

He was born in Norwalk, CT to the late Edward and Lorraine Grace on June 9, 1934, and grew up in Fairfield. He was predeceased by his (Irish Twin) brother, Richard Peter Grace. He was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, and earned two degrees, one from the University of Alabama, and a second from Bridgeport University, the latter Magna Cum Laude. He was an eagle scout and a proud US Marine. His career was in computer sales and marketing.
He was a loving son, brother and uncle who had an enormous zest for life that infected all around him. He is survived by his sister Linda Kelly and her husband Ken of Monroe, his sister-in-law Joanne Grace of Bridgeport, three nephews Davitt Kelly, Kevin Kelly and Peter Grace and his two nieces Tara Kelly Hehr and Kelly Grace Carberry.
He loved travel, cars, boats and trains. He enjoyed sailing his sailboat, the “Tack Two”, on Long Island Sound, and had a passion for grand sailing with Cunard, his favorite ship the QEII, and was a member of the Cunard’s World Club. He loved European trains, his favorites were the Orient Express and the Royal Scots Man. He enjoyed many years as member of the National Ski Patrol and annual ski trips to Europe. He was a member of the University Club of Hartford and would host an annual dinner for family and friends the day after Thanksgiving for the lighting of Hartford’s Christmas lights. He has been a member of the Stratford Racquet Ball Club, and currently the Edge Fitness Club in Shelton taking part in their evening spinning classes.
He will be greatly missed by those who enjoyed his company and loved him. Burial will be private.
