After retiring early, Nana dedicated herself to what she loved most..spending time with her Grandsons. She shared an incredible bond with them, always ready to offer comfort or take the “wheel” as their trusted “getaway car”. Whether she was driving them to a friends house, preparing Nana’s chocolate or lemon cake, teaching them to play cards at the kitchen table, Nana created memories that will be cherished for generations.
She loved spending time at the Monroe Senior Center where she made many good friends while playing cards and Mahjong. She also enjoyed spending time with her best friend Fran going to church, breakfast at Bills Drive-In and so many other adventures. She looked forward to doing her daily rosary with her friend Donna and a day was never missed.
She was a devoted catholic and has made great friends at St. Jude Parish where she has been a parishioner for over 60 years.
Lillian cherished her family and always said we were so blessed to have such an amazing family.
