Linda Diane Carney

She was predeceased by her beloved and adoring husband and best friend, Paul L. Carney only five months ago. She was also predeceased by her parents Ed and Jill (Gilberte LaPointe) Currier, infant daughter Cynthia Ann and her two brothers Edward and Frederick Currier. She is survived by her daughter Terri (John) Reisert of Sandy Hook CT, three beloved grandchildren Gabrielle, Kristen and Patrick, brother in law William (Eileen) of Bow NH, sister in law Alexis Currier of Amesbury MA and 13 much loved nieces and nephews. She spent her childhood in Berlin NH, Springfield VT and Salem, MA. After graduating Salem High School, Linda worked at The United Shoe, The Visiting Nurse Association and at The Medical Group.

Linda was known for her selflessness, unlimited kindness and her great capacity for unconditional love. She loved her family dearly and always put their needs and everyone else’s needs ahead of her own. She never complained and always looked on the bright side. She had a strong and amazing faith. Her family and numerous friends miss her dearly but are thankful she is with her soulmate, Paul once again. For the last month her daughter had the tremendous pleasure and honor of having Linda live with her. It was a gift and a beautiful month that they were so lucky to have together. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Special Olympics or your favorite charity to benefit animals. Also, please tip someone 30% in Linda’s honor. She always did that figuring that they probably needed the few extra bucks more than she did.
