Linda Marie DeFrancesco

Born on August 7, 1946, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Linda was the daughter of the late Marfie and Leon Tufano. She attended Harding High and later married the love of her life, Anthony (Tony) Joseph DeFrancesco, on September 26, 1964, in Bridgeport.

Linda was a talented hair stylist and proud owner of Natural Style for many years. She later worked as a payroll manager before retiring to dedicate her time to her greatest joy – caring for her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Tony.

Linda is survived by her devoted daughters, Tracy Pytel of Meriden, Jennifer Vannuccini and her husband Robert of Dallas, Texas, and Linda Brock and her partner Ricky Ware of Wesley Chapel, Florida. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Geraldine Kasper and her husband Michael of Somers, Connecticut and Donna Broadbent and her husband Craig of Poinciana, Florida; and her cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Shawn, Christopher, Gabriel, Ava, Luke, Julia and Jaxon. She will be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews.

Linda’s family will receive friends from 10 am – 11 am on Friday, November 7 at the Spadaccino and Gallagher Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Tpke., Monroe CT. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Tpke., Monroe with Fr. Jozef Ukaj officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford, CT.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Moffit Cancer Center Foundation, MBC-FOU, 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612.
