Born in Ansonia, CT, she was the daughter of Joseph and Theresa Francolini. Lorraine graduated from the University of Bridgeport and was employed at Stamford Public Schools where she worked as an elementary school teacher.
She enjoyed crafts, reading, singing and traveling. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the comfort she brought to those around her. Her life was a quiet but powerful reminder that love is often shown in the smallest, most thoughtful ways. Above all, she will be remembered for her kindness, her resilience, and her sense of humor.
She is survived by three children, Maureen O’Donnell, Shaune Montini and Tom Hobby, 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Wes Hobby.
Friends are invited to calling hours Friday, May 8th, 11am – 1pm at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT. Service will be begin at the funeral home at 1pm, with interment to immediately follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery – Easton, Harvester Road, Easton.
