Louis P. Cavaliere

Louis P. Cavaliere, age 84, of Trumbull, CT, beloved husband of Dorothy M. Cavaliere passed away at Bridgeport Hospital early April 23, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Bridgeport on December 29, 1929, he was a son of the late Louis and Camelia Colonnese Cavaliere. He was a member of the Long Hill Fire Department with many years of service and was retired after 42 years at the United Illuminating Company. Louis was also a member of Heart Beats at Bridgeport Hospital. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, gardening and golfing. In addition to his wife of nearly 50 loving years, his survivors include his son Michael Cavaliere, and daughters Jo Ann Simon Kilmurray and husband Thomas, Debbie Heenan and deceased husband Wayne, Susan Cavaliere, Karen Urbani and husband Alex. He is also survived by and cherished by his beloved grandchildren, Michael Cavaliere Jr., Jennifer Yokell, Danielle Agudelo, William Simon, James Crone, Samantha & Louis Heenan and Isabella & Alex Urbani,as well as his great-grandchildren, Esther, Elijah, Jayden and Josephine. He also leaves three brothers Vincent and wife Marie, Anthony, Gerald Cavaliere and partner Merilee and many nieces, nephews and family members. He was predeceased by his brother Buonouenturo and his wife Marge, and his sister-in-law Melba. Although his passing came suddenly he will be in our hearts forever thanks to his generous and giving nature. He will be remembered for his immense joy of life and devotion to family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26th at 11am St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 2610 Nichols Avenue, Stratford. Friends may greet the family TODAY, April 25th, from 4pm-8pm at the Spadaccino and Leo P.
