Lucille F. Colucci

Lucille F. Colucci, 97 of Newtown, Connecticut died March 23, 2014. She was born in Stamford, Connecticut to Louisa and Leonard Colucci. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Helen Colucci, Beatrice Forte (and her husband Fred Forte), Marion Grimaldi and a brother Michael Colucci. She is survived by a sister, Elinor Cole and her husband Rusty Cole of Fayetteville, North Carolina, nieces and nephews, Gary Forte and his wife Marie of Monroe, Connecticut, Cathy Lorusso and her husband Charles of Ridgefield, Connecticut, Nicholas Grimaldi of New York City, Heidi Berryhill and her husband Michael and Kerry Gerzog and her husband Jonathan of North Carolina and Kelly Cole and his partner Chris Sherbak of Chicago.

She is further survived by great nieces and nephews: Amanda Forte Lewis, Karen Forte, Jessica Lorusso Propst, Casey Lorusso, Daniel Lorusso, Michael Berryhill, Matthew Berryhill and Jeffrey Gerzog. She was predeceased by a great nephew Gregory Berryhill.

Lucille, a longtime resident of Stamford, trained as a hairdresser and worked in her father’s beauty salon/barber shop in Stamford for many years. She also worked at Stamford Hospital and West Hill High School in Stamford.

She was a generous and loving aunt and sister to her family and will be greatly missed.
