Born in Fairfield, Connecticut, she was the daughter of William G. Sherwood and Caroline S. Sherwood. She was an avid gardener and loved to be outside working in the yard.
She will be remembered for her infectious smile and joyous laugh. She was well loved by many in the community and was well known by many local residents due to her employment at the local coffee shop.
She is survived by her five children, eight grand children, and six great grand children. She was predeceased by her late husband Roland “Skip” Wickson and ten siblings.
There will be no funeral service or memorial service due to Mabel’s last wishes.
