

Marilyn was born in Bridgeport on March 23, 1931, to Joseph and Mary Pulaski.
She lived in Monroe for many years before marrying her husband, V. James Garamella. Together, they made their home in Bridgeport before moving to Shelton to raise their three children. Marilyn worked as an examiner for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Bridgeport until her retirement.
After retiring, she moved to Hidden Knolls condominiums, where she made many wonderful friends and stayed active in community events and trips.
Marilyn is survived by her three loving children, Linda Garamella-Fusco (Mike), James J. Garamella (Candace Chockey), and Mark Garamella (Charlene); her grandchildren, Dina Garrow (Kevin), Marco Garamella (Melanie), Gina and Lisa Garamella; her great-grandchildren, Chloe Garrow and Nico Garamella; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by V. James Garamella, her brother, Charles Pulaski, and her beloved cat, Mittens.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held on October 28, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, located at 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468. The funeral service will held at the funeral home at 12 pm. Interment to immediately follow at St. John's Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Rd, in Monroe.
