Mary Ann was born in Bridgeport, CT to Clifford Marvin Sr. and Mary Lucas Marvin on March 28, 1946. She attended school at Harding High School in Bridgeport CT. She married Andrew Csire on July 27, 1968 in Bridgeport, CT. Mary Ann worked many jobs before retiring to spend time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Her most favorite of all was gift wrapping at Read's Department Store during Christmas. She felt it was a way to make people happy and do what she loved during a time of year that she loved. She last worked as a pharmaceutical technician for OmniCare Pharmacy in Cheshire before her retirement in 2011. Mary Ann was a life member of the Stepney Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was also the President of the Monroe Republican Women’s Club. Mary Ann believed in the power of prayer and she prayed for anyone who crossed her path. She loved sharing stories of her life and her family. She treasured and lived for every moment that she had with her grandchildren. She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan and always took pride in attending or listening to their games or activities. Mary Ann took pleasure in watching sports and was a lifelong Yankees fan. She even learned how to play Fantasy Football at the age of 75! Mary Ann considered Aruba her second home and was able to spend one last trip there with her entire family to celebrate her 50th anniversary with her husband, Andy. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and crafting with her twin sister, Ann Marie. Her loving cat, Tyson, was always in her lap at any given moment, relishing her warm touch. Mary Ann welcomed people into her life without hesitation and without judgment. Wherever she was, she could connect with people. She loved a good party. Her beautiful white hair, her welcoming smile, and the ability to share her stories (some even made up) drew people toward her. She had the ability and the gift to talk to anyone and everyone. Her positivity and her strength will live on in anyone who had the chance to know and love her.
