

Mary was born and raised in Bridgeport Ct in the west end section called "Hunktown". Mary graduated from Bassick High School in 1950 and went on to work for the Harvey Hubbell Corp. Mary left Hubbell's in 1956 to start her real profession of raising a family.
Mary was an avid animal lover and cared for her many dogs and cats. Mary also enjoyed her frequent trips to the casino with her cousin, Theresa. Mary's friendship to Theresa kept her going through much of her life and they were known as Thelma and Louise.
Mary was most proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and talked about them constantly. Mary loved the many hours of playing piggy and go fish. She also loved going to Friendly's with them for ice cream sundaes.
Mary is survived by her sons Tony (Dianna) of Monroe and Scot (Betty) of Smithfield NC. Mary is survived by her sister Kathleen (Andy) Kalapir of Fairfield. Kathleen was a big part of Mary's caregiving in the last years and we couldn't have managed without her. Mary is also survived by grandchildren Kimmy (Mark), Michael (Heather), Amy Danny, Nick and Teresa (Christopher) and her great grandchildren Brayden, Thomas, Gavin, Addie, Angelina, Ava, Kellan and Anthony. Mary is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Albert, her parents Charles and Mary and her brother Richard.
