Mary DiNapoli
July 16, 1928 – July 26, 2022

Mary DiNapoli, 94, of Riverside, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday July 26, 2022 in Monroe . Born the youngest of six children to the late Leokadia and Charles Malecki. She grew up in Stamford, CT where she was a longtime parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Church. After marrying her husband, Pasquale, they created a home in Riverside. She was a loving wife and homemaker for most of her life. Mary also worked part time at the cafe in Nathaniel Witherell nursing home for several years.
Mary was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband of over 50 years, Pasquale DiNapoli, her son Christopher DiNapoli, her sister and brother-in-law, Stella (Michael) Miska; brothers Charlie, Edward, Tony, and Stanley Malecki.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Laki) Papadakos of Norwalk; her loving grandchildren: Max and Gianna; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her heart of gold, loving and caring personality and generosity with family and friends. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will remain imprinted in the hearts of those she touched. She was an excellent cook who loved to host holiday parties, enjoyed making her own clothes, going on cruises, and the casino.
A Mass will be held to celebrate her life on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1:00pm at St. Jude’s Parish in Monroe, CT. Family and Friends may call from 11:30am -12:30pm on Monday, August 1st at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home on 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT.
