Michael Timothy Lent

Tim was born on June 28, 1950 in Derby, CT and was the son of Walter and Teresa (Barrachina) Lent. Growing up in Monroe, CT, Tim graduated from Masuk High School and immediately following graduation, he joined the United States Air Force where he served overseas between 1969 and 1973. After serving for four years and climbing to the rank of Sergeant, Tim was honorably discharged from the US Air Force in 1973.

Tim married Karin Voitk (Lent) and they lived happily in Trumbull, CT. Tim was very proud of their home in Trumbull and property which he took great pride in maintaining. He worked at Sikorsky Aircraft for many years, and was in a supervisory role when he retired in 2012. Tim enjoyed playing golf and travelling, including an annual September trip to Bermuda to celebrate Tim and Karin’s wedding anniversary. When not travelling or playing golf, he could be found enjoying their yard at home, of which he spent far more time in after retirement.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Karin Lent, stepsons Dylan (Karin) Healy, Jason Healy, and grandson Spencer Healy, brother Tom (Gail) Lent, sister Ellen (Izzie) Acevedo as well as many nieces and nephews.

Interment for Tim will be private.
