He was an avid gardener, growing a vegetable garden every year from seeds he started growing in the basement during the winter months. He will always be remembered for his excellent hot peppers. Michael loved working with his hands to create furniture and a number of decorative pieces. He was recognized for incredibly detailed Christmas displays in the front windows of his home. After retiring, Michael honed his baking skills at home and created a carrot cake recipe that was loved by all.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed. In addition to his loving wife Bonnie of 38 years, he was predeceased by his son John, and brother Ronald. Michael is survived by his siblings, Shirley Sedlock, Patricia Cutrufello (Paul), Eileen Murray, Richard Vojtek (Marianna), his children, Robert Purciello (Felicia), Cheryl Mucherino (Pat), Mark Vojtek (Karen), grandchildren, Patrick (Ana), Bobby, Brittany, Ashley, Ryan, Samantha, Alexis, Mark, Stephanie, and Matthew.

Mike,
Even though we know you are now at peace & together again with Bonnie, we will deeply miss our great coffee hours with you both. We'll remember your gardens, with those great peppers & tomatoes and lately your delicious carrot cakes, especially the one you made for us to take on the train to D.C. to our son. May you rest in peace watching out for & feeding the dogs, cats, squirrels & birds in heaven.
With loving memories,
John, Theresa, Brian (Kristen) & Kevin Davis
