He built and fixed many things but the most memorable one is the irrigation watering system he designed to ensure there was plenty of water to water his garden organically.
He was the beloved and devoted husband of Lucia Stefanelli Accettullo for almost 61 years and a brother to Salvatore Accettullo and wife Mahala of West Virginia. He was predeceased by his son Silvestro Accettullo. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Eva Accettullo, daughter Eufemia Accettullo and husband Todd Burke of Cleveland, GA, daughter Maria Sallati and husband Giaccomo Sallati of Monroe, son Benedetto (Benny) Accettullo of Trumbull, daughter Michelina Accettullo of Monroe and Fiancé Michael Mattern of Shelton, daughter Anna Accettullo of Trumbull and 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He LOVED playing the accordion to entertain family and friends and was thrilled to orchestrate numbers with his friend Vincenzo and Tony as the sound penetrated the soul.
