Nancy was a one-of-a-kind loving, caring, woman with a big smile and contagious laugh who was warm and funny. A joy to be around, especially while telling her numerous stories.
Nancy was a dedicated, caring, enormously proud LPN who frequently went beyond for her patients. Nancy’s nursing career included experiences in Cancer Care, Cardiac Care, Respiratory Care, Intensive Care, Home Care as a Visiting Nurse and providing care at Skilled Nursing Facilities. Her patients and families loved her, who could not do enough for their loved ones, and was such a delight who went above and beyond and was a joy to be around. And they too were subject to her frequent stories.
Nancy was a member of and served on the Board of the Connecticut LPN Association. She was an advocate and volunteer for the Connecticut Special Olympics for many years.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, John F. and Ellen D. White, her sister Kathleen M. White, her brothers-in-law, Jonathan Levine and Lou Borsema.
Nancy is also survived by her sister Mary Ellen White, her sisters-in-laws Cynthia Levine and Immacolata Loffredo, and nephew David Levine, and by numerous cousins in the United States and Ireland.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave, Stratford, CT. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave, Darien, CT.
