Valli, Nicholas, Sr. age 89 of Monroe entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Manor surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Budapest, Hungary on July 13, 1921. He immigrated to America and enlisted in the United States Army proudly serving our country from 1942-1946 and was honorably discharged. He was the loving son of the late Nicholas and Barbara Valli and was predeceased by his wife, Ethel Valli, of 61 years. He is survived by his two sons, Daniel Valli of Monroe and George Valli of Valley Stream, New York, his daughter-in-law, Irene and two grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel. The family wishes to thank all of the Staff of Maplewood of Newton, St. Joseph’s Manor and SolAmor Hospice for all their dedicated service while caring for our beloved one. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 2 to 6pm at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Interment will follow in St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, New York.
