OBITUARY
Nicolina Guerrera
July 23, 1931 – February 16, 2021
Nicolina Guerrera, age 89, of Monroe, beloved wife of the late Nicola Guerrera passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital.
She was born on July 23, 1931 in Pontelandolfo province of Benevento, Italy to the late Nicola and Anna Longo.
Before her retirement she worked at Heim Manufacturing in Fairfield, for many years. She enjoyed gardening and loved to cook delicious Italian food for her family. Her greater joy in life was to spend time with friends and family. The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by two sons, Michele Guerrera and wife Maddalena of Bridgeport and John Guerrera of Monroe, and one daughter Anna Guerrera of Monroe; two cherished grandchildren, Claudio (Suzanne) Guerrera and Diane (Victor) Karim, three great grand-children, Luca Guerrera, Nicholas and Daniel Karim. She is also survived by a brother Enrico Longo and a sister Ermelinda Longo, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Antonio Longo.
Friends are invited to a calling hour on the morning of Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am, following visitation, at Saint Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Entombment will immediately follow at Saint Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
