MASI, Pasquale (Pat, Patsy) husband, father, uncle, tile setter by trade, avid fisherman, coin collector and ‘self-proclaimed’ artist, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, September 2, 2012. Born in South Norwalk on August 8, 1918, Pat was 94 years old. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Helen Ross Masi. His two daughters, Patricia (Patti) Lord (Edward) and Diane (Dee) Haughney (Paul) will miss him dearly as will his seven grandchildren Dawn Lord (Jim Ruscoe), Wendy Haslam (Cliff), Kristel DeLima (Vic), Candice Milliard (David), Robyn Tedesco (Mike), Alysha Mills (Dennis) and Paul Haughney, Jr. (Kerry). He will also be missed by his 16 great grandchildren . Pat leaves behind his last sibling of 13, John Masi (Josephine) of Trumbull, his good friend Tom Benedetto of Monroe and many loving nieces and nephews. Pat was very proud of his Civilian Conservation Corps building of Estes Park in Colorado. In healthier times you would find him scouring tag sales for deals, bargaining the best price for a choice coin or, his favorite, fishing the ponds of the Northbrook Condos in Monroe. Now we can only hope he is fishing the greatest pond of all in the sky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday September 6th at 10:30 am at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Daniels Farm Road Trumbull. Friends may visit Wednesday September 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home 315 Monroe Turnpike Monroe. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.spadaccinofuneralhome.com
